Providing trade clarity for commodity merchants
Every fill, every venue, every clearer, in one record you own.
Every fill you trade, from every venue and every clearing firm, in one record that belongs to you. Then every place somebody's statement disagrees with it, named. Today that starts with the statements you already receive; the exchange sessions follow certification.
The problem
A trade gets keyed by hand, and nobody finds out until tomorrow.
Somebody types a fill into a spreadsheet, or into a system that wants it typed again. A digit moves, a side flips, a lot goes in twice. It is an ordinary morning and it happens to everyone.
The error itself is cheap. What costs is when you find it: not at the moment it is made, but the next day, when an export finally arrives and somebody reconciles it by hand. By then the position it fed has been wrong for a session, and you have been trading against it.
There is nowhere to check it against. Your day is split across the exchanges you trade on and split again across the firms that clear for you, and not one of them holds all of it. Your clearer's portal is good at showing your clearer's fills; it cannot show the other firm's, and no clearer is able to build that.

Where the trades go
It lands where you already work.
No software to install, no adapter to buy, and nothing for your IT to host. Voir issues a key, your side reads from a cursor, and the record you see in the portal arrives in the workbook, the system or the endpoint you already use.
Excel, refreshed on a button
A key in a named cell and a query over the trade cursor. Data, then Refresh, and the sheet carries on from the last sequence it loaded, so nothing is skipped and nothing arrives twice. No add-in.
Data › Refresh
An API that cannot skip
One paged read, ordered by sequence, with no gaps and no repeats. Keys are issued, rotated and revoked in the portal, and a revocation records who did it and why.
GET /api/v1/trades
A push into your ETRM
Voir delivers each page to a webhook, a file drop or an object store, as JSON, NDJSON or CSV. Every page carries an idempotency key, and the cursor moves only once your system has answered that it holds it.
X-Voir-Delivery-Key
All three read the same record the portal does. Today that record is built from the statements and exports you send; the exchange sessions that fill it directly follow certification.
How it works
Start where it costs you nothing. Go further when it has earned it.
Four steps, and each one is a separate decision. The first needs no connection to an exchange, no credential, and no change to how you work today. By the time you reach the last, you have watched it be right every morning for months.

Reconcile
Send your clearing statements and an export from whatever you run. Every break comes back named, with both sides shown and the work to close it attached.

Deliver
Voir becomes the source your trading and risk system reads from, after months of being right beside the system it replaces.

After exchange certification
Steps 2 to 4 run on a certified exchange session. Certification is the exchange's own conformance process, and it begins with your clearing firm, which is also who provisions the session. Step 1 needs none of it.
The seven kinds of break
A break is a sentence, not a red cell.
Every difference between your record and a clearer's statement is classified into one of seven kinds, with both sides shown in full. Nobody opens two other screens to find out what went wrong.
- Missing from the statementA fill you traded that the clearer does not carry. The one a merchant chases hardest.
- Missing from your recordA statement line that no fill of yours matches.
- State differsCancelled on your side, still carried by the clearer.
- Quantity differsSame trade, different quantities, or the two sides counting in different units, which is one break and not two.
- Price differsSame trade, different prices on the same basis, or a different basis entirely.
- Account differsSame trade, booked to a different account.
- Wrong clearerThe fill names a clearing firm the statement is not from.
Why it settles arguments
A record that is not your clearer's, and not theirs either.
A fill that is not on the statement. A price that does not match. A give-up nobody claimed. In every one of those arguments both sides end up quoting the same counterparty's records at each other.
Voir holds the record independently: timestamped, tamper-evident, and kept by a party with no stake in who turns out to be right. That is the difference between having an opinion about what happened and having a document.
A database of your own
Your data lives in a database only your own processes can open. Separation is which database a process can reach, not a filter in a query.
A log that cannot be quietly edited
Every entry is chained to the one before it by hash, and the head is anchored somewhere your own account cannot write.
The bytes, exactly as received
Every message is kept as it arrived, before anything interprets it. A mistake in how a trade was read is a replay, not a loss.
After exchange certificationEvery gap named
Missing messages are detected, requested again from the venue, and recorded as recovered or lost. A gap is never silently absent.

Who it is for
Merchants who clear through more than one firm.
Physical energy, biofuels and environmental products, agriculture, metals. Too small for an in-house middle-office platform, and large enough that a missed fill costs real money.
If you clear everything through one firm on one venue, this is not for you: there is already one place your trading exists, and it is your clearer's portal.
Middle office
The morning reconciliation, done.
Every clearer's statement checked before you arrive, with only the breaks left to work.
Finance
An answer to “is our position right?”
A record you can put in front of an auditor that says what was received, and what was not.
Technology
The part you would otherwise build.
Otherwise it is a FIX engine, a developer, and owning both forever. Ask for the architecture, and read it before you believe any of this.
Start here
Start with one statement.
Send a clearing statement and an export from whatever you use today. You get back every break, classified. It needs nothing from an exchange and nothing from your IT team.
Or write to hello@tradevoir.com directly. It reaches the same place, and a real person answers it.
